Remove grill guard from fan by removing all 4 bolts, washers, and nuts 3. Place the fan inlet side down on a level surface. Slide cone over exit orifice of the housing and align pre drilled holes. There is no orientation for the cone. (Some applications require the cone to be positioned at an angle, for these applications the cone should be rotated so the pre drilled holes are evenly spaced between the holes in the fan orifice and new holes should be drilled. (In rare instances there may be slight interference in the cone and the housing resulting in issues with hole alignment. In this instance please de burr or clean the interior of the minor diameter of the cone to eliminate interference.) Standard Installation Alternate Installation
