Place shutter into fan inlet opening. Ensure shutter is oriented so shutter will swing upward when air flows from the interior of the house through the fan to the exterior of the house. 12. Attach (8) shutter retainer clips with aluminum washer and self tapping screw to fan housing. Space the retainer clips evenly between securing screws applied in step 2 ensuring shutter in centered in fan opening. THIS COMPLETES THE HOUSING ASSEMBLY OF THE FAN
