GrowerSELECT Nests

GrowerSELECT® breeder chicken nests are manufactured from durable galvanized metal and create a comfortable, secure space for hens to lay their eggs. Our nests’ features and options help you simplify breeder chicken management and maximize flock production potential. GrowerSELECT egg collection tables are available in both center and side-belt models with innovative features that protect collected eggs and maximize efficiency.

GrowerSELECT Breeder Chicken Nest System

• Available in 20 hole (9.6” wide) and 16 hole (12” wide) nest models
• Side-belt (5”) and center-belt (8”) egg collection options available
• Open top design gives hens easy access to nests and helps reduce floor eggs
• Pivoting top bar keeps nests cleaner by preventing birds from perching on top of the roof

Nest Closure

GrowerSELECT breeder chicken nests are available in 16 or 20 space models with manual or automatic closure options. (Shown: Automatic closure bar model, Item # GSN-CB2096)

GrowerSELECT breeder nests offer a hinged manual closure option and integrated tube closure for automated systems to prevent birds from attempting to roost in nest openings.

Poly Comfort Perch

Our Poly Comfort Perch is an ergonomic mushroom shape that fits birds’ paws and promotes better balance. Poly material lasts longer and is easy to wash/sanitize.

Nest Bottoms

Open-grille polypropylene nests bottoms permit debris to fall through and promote improved air circulation. Turf-style or rubber finger nest pads options are available.

Belt Tray

Nest egg belt tray holes are punched and extruded to eliminate debris from hanging on their edges, allowing either cloth or plastic egg belts to be used in the same nest without changing trays.

Nest Leveling

Isle trays protect egg belt and allow for more variation in nest leveling from winching without causing damage to belts or nests.

Belt Tension

Built-in tensioning device allows for almost twice the belt-stretch than traditional egg tables provide, significantly reducing required belt adjustments due to stretch or thermal expansion/contraction.

GrowerSELECT Egg Collection Tables

GrowerSELECT Egg Collection tables are available in both center-belt or side-belt models and feature an innovative pinch roller design that better maintains belt tension to reduce slippage.

• PVC guide rail safely directs eggs to collection point on the table-top
• Table height adjustable from 27” to 42” high
• Magnetic vinyl-coated table tops are easily removed for cleaning
• Self-regulating belt tensioning device permits a greater range of adjustment
• Large collection tray(s) under table collect dirt and debris for easy clean-up
• Belt speeds adjustable between 0 and 27 feet per minute (FPM), with internal maximum speed options for more precise control
• Accepts 5” or 8” cloth and plastic egg belts
